To the right you can see animated simulations of the two-target interference probe trials tested by Blaisdell, Katz, & Cook (under review). Unlike the actual experiment, each demonstration is an animated gif that repeatedly shows the same color trial both within and between demonstrations. The black interval represents a brief inter-trial-interval to simulate display onset. These examples are just intended to give you a feel for the timing and organization of the probes within a trial. In the actual experiment, both shape and color trials were tested and the locations of the target and probe were randomized on each trial.
