Training
  • Accuracy on this color discrimination task exceeded 90%.

Generalization Test
  • When tested with different number  of red and green rectangles psychometric functions were obtained.
  • As the number of same colored rectangles increased the proportion of responses to that color increased.

Training with red and green elements
  • Training was done with 10 reinforced presentations of each of the 10 stimuli for 27 sessions. A “correct” response was a peck at the key for which the majority of rectangles was red or green.

Conclusions
